U.S. President Joe Biden is scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Finland from July 9-13, 2023. The trip will begin in London, where Biden will meet with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Biden will then travel to Vilnius, Lithuania, to attend the July 11-12 NATO summit, where he will meet with other NATO leaders.
Finally, he will visit Helsinki, Finland, for a US-Nordic Leaders Summit.
The White House has not released details on the agenda for the trip, but it is expected that Biden will discuss a range of issues, including climate change, cybersecurity, and Russia’s actions towards Ukraine. The trip is part of Joe Biden’s efforts to strengthen relationships with U.S. allies and partners in Europe and to reaffirm the United States’ commitment to NATO.

The United States ratified in August 2022 the agreements for the admission of Finland and Sweden to NATO. The Membership protocols were signed by US President Joe Biden.
