The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani warned Israel of the consequences of attacks on the Lebanese Hezbollah movement. Earlier, the territory of the Golan Heights was subjected to a massive attack from Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) accused the Hezbollah movement of carrying out strikes and carried out retaliatory attacks on the movement’s targets.

“Any rash action by the Zionist regime could lead to an increase in the scale of instability, insecurity and war in the region,” Nasser Kanani said in a statement published on the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

As the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry added, Israel will be responsible for the attack. The diplomat also called on the United States to stop supplying weapons to the Israeli army.

According to the Israel’s Defence Forces, 12 people were killed as a result of strikes on the Golan Heights. Israel blamed Hezbollah for the attack and struck the movement on the night of July 28. The IDF also claims that the strikes on the Golan Heights were carried out by Iranian Falaq-1 missiles. Hezbollah officials deny involvement in the attacks.
