Ukrainian defense tech company Skyeton and French defense startup Harmattan AI have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Harmattan AI’s advanced military sensor technologies, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems, into Skyeton’s flagship unmanned aerial system (UAS), the Raybird. This collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of Raybird UAVs across key NATO markets, especially in France, enhancing the platform with AI-powered capabilities for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.

The partnership combines Skyeton’s experience in unmanned aviation with Harmattan AI’s strengths in autonomous sensor technology and European manufacturing capacity, reinforcing NATO defense capabilities and European security.

The first units with integrated Harmattan AI sensors are expected to be operational by early 2026, likely first deployed with the French Ministry of Defense.
