Cyberpunk 2077 has officially surpassed 35 million copies sold worldwide, according to the latest financial results from its developer and publisher CD Projekt . This figure includes sales of the base game across platforms as well as bundled versions like the Ultimate Edition.
Milestone details
The 35 million sales mark was disclosed in CD Projekt’s Q3 2025 earnings update, representing an increase of about 5 million units over the roughly 30 million reported around late 2024. The total counts sales up to late November 2025.
This pace means Cyberpunk 2077 reached 35 million faster than The Witcher 3 managed to hit 30 million over a comparable post-launch period.
What boosted recent sales
Recent growth has been driven by releases on Nintendo Switch 2 and macOS, plus ongoing interest in the Phantom Liberty expansion and the Ultimate Edition bundle. Inclusion in services like PlayStation Plus has also funneled new players toward buying expansions and full copies.
