The US Air Force has deployed two more B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers to the British Fairford Air Base to participate in operations to strike Iran, according to the Military Air Tracking Alliance (MATA) aviation resource.
The planes arrived in England on Saturday after a transatlantic flight from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. On Thursday, three B-1B Lancer strategic bombers were also deployed there from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.
Now 23 American heavy bombers are stationed in Britain, including 15 B-1B Lancer aircraft and eight B-52H Stratofortress.
These strategic bombers carry out daily raids on targets in Iran. Each aircraft is capable of carrying 24 JDAM glide bombs with a range of up to 20 km or 12 JASSM cruise missiles with a range of about 300 km.

This conflict began with surprise US-Israeli airstrikes on Iranian sites, killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and targeting military infrastructure, command centers, and nuclear-related facilities. Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks on Israel, US bases in Gulf states like Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, as well as allied targets.
