On this day of the second round of the legislative elections, the New Popular Front slightly ahead of Together and the National Rally, according to the first estimates at 20:00 PM.
In France, the preliminary results of the early parliamentary elections that ended today have been summed up. The favorites were the left-wing New People’s Front (NFP) and Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN). In total, there are 577 deputies in parliament.
In this second round, the RN would secure the second position with 145 seats in the National Assembly. In the first round, 297 of their candidates came out ahead in the election.
The New Popular Front (NFP) and various left-wing parties won 180 to 210 seats, gains the first place in this second round, thanks to alliance forged after the first round on June 30.
The presidential majority (Renaissance) is due to win between 155 and 175 seats.
The Republicans and various right-wing parties are due to win 45 to 56 seats.

Turnout for the second round of the legislative elections was 59.71% at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, slightly higher than in the first round, a week earlier. On June 30, 2024, at the same time, turnout had reached 59.39%.
The leaders of the electoral blocs were waiting for the results in their election headquarters, and President Emmanuel Macron gathered his associates, including Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, at the Elysee Palace.
