Opened in August 2102, the Russky Bridge (Русский мост,) a cable-stayed bridge in Vladivostok, connecting the Russky Island and the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula sections of the city across the Eastern Bosphorus strait. With a central span of 1,104 metres (3,622 feet) it is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world.

The 7th Eastern Economic Forum will take place in Vladivostok, Russian Fart East, on September 5-8.

The event will be located on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).

The Eastern Economic Forum is a key international platform for creating and strengthening ties between the Russian and global investment communities, a comprehensive expert assessment of the economic potential of the Russian Far East, the presentation of its investment opportunities and business conditions in the territories of advanced development. Business deals and cooperation agreements worth billions of dollars are signed each time the forum is held.

The EEF was established by the decree of the Russian president Vladimir Putin of May 19, 2015 in order to promote the development of the economy of the Far East and expand international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

The program this year is named : “The Path to a Multipolar World

More than 90 business events and over 330 speakers and moderators will attend the Forum. The EEF Organizing Committee said that representatives of 40 countries confirmed their participation in the forum in 2022. The press service of the forum added that at the EEF it is planned to discuss the development of the Far East, the global and regional economy, international cooperation, as well as trajectories for overcoming the crisis and a new architecture of the world.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin will make a working trip to the Far Eastern Federal District on September 6-7, during which he will take part in the 7th Eastern Economic Forum, reported the press service of Kremlin.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Jacob will address the participants with video greetings.

The Prime Ministers of Armenia, Mongolia and Myanmar – Nikol Pashinyan, Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene and Min Aung Hlaing, will attend the plenary session of the EEF on September 7.
