The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that at 5:00 AM Moscow time, the transfer of Russian troops to the left bank of the Dnieper was completed. As the Ministry specifies, not a single unit of Russian military equipment and weapons was left on the right bank.
The official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to disrupt the transportation of civilians and the transfer of troops to the left bank of the Dnieper at night. The river crossings were hit five times by HIMARS rockets.
“All Russian servicemen crossed, losses of personnel, weapons, equipment and materiel of the Russian group were not registered,” said the General Major Igor Konashenkov.
According to him, the Russian military stopped the Ukrainian troops at a distance of 30-40 km from the area of crossings across the Dnieper river.
Ukrainian troops advanced 10 kilometers over the past two days in some areas in the Kherson region.
